Frank F. Ali
Mr. Ali believes that his primary purpose is to serve the needs of his clients. He views his job as first attempting to solve problems in the most cost efficient manner possible, and then if necessary, pursuing aggressive litigation to resolve difficult situations.
Prior to attending law school, Mr. Ali was an executive for a major insurance company, and later founded and managed his own small business for twelve years with over ten employees, gaining valuable experience in business matters, negotiation and dealing with people.
As a family law practitioner, Mr. Ali has handled numerous cases over the last few years, including child custody, child and spousal support, and the division of assets and debts. Because of his business background, Mr. Ali can handle complex financial issues such as the division or valuation of small businesses or complex real estate holdings.
Since joining Herrig & Vogt, Mr. Ali has focused his practice on family law matters including probate litigation, conservatorships and guardianships for his clients. In addition to family law matters, Mr. Ali also routinely handles real estate, construction, contract, partnership and business disputes. This experience and diversity in handling a variety of cases proves to be a great advantage because Mr. Ali has a wide intuitive understanding of many of the different situations that arise in a family law dispute and has a strong ability to handle procedural and evidentiary matters that many family lawyers have not.
Not only is Mr. Ali proud that most matters can be handled without litigation, but understands that if the other side does not wish to be fair and reasonable that aggressive representation can achieve the desired result. In one recent case, Mr. Ali won $85,000 in attorney fees for his client.
Frank Ali graduated from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law in the top fifth of his class with Distinction. During law school Mr. Ali was chosen to represent McGeorge during America Bar Association competitions in Negotiation Skills and Client Counseling & Interviewing. Mr. Ali also was active in Community Legal Services, McGeorge's free legal clinic, both as a certified law student and as a team leader providing legal services to low income clients.
