Herrig & Vogt recently sponsored and took part in Relay for Life of Roseville – a 12-hour walk-a-thon style fundraiser supporting the American Cancer Society at Cooley Middle School.
The numbers are in, and we are happy to announce that the event raised nearly $40,000 with hundreds of community members participating, despite the high winds that rattled more than a few of our fellow teams’ pop-up tents.
That $40,000 will support The American Cancer Society’s efforts and programs like:
- Hope Lodge
- Road to Recovery
- Look Good … Feel Better
- Reach to Recovery

We are incredibly proud to have been joined by much of our staff, who not only came out with their families to represent team Herrig & Vogt along with fellow community members on the track, but also contributed financially to our fundraising goal.
In particular, we would like to recognize our team captain, Michaelle Mize, who spent many hours attending event planning meetings, organizing and preparing our booth, and leading our fundraising efforts. Her daughter, Rachel Mize, served as the team’s junior captain, and they both spent the entire day of the event on-site, encouraging and coordinating our team members.
We would also like to commend the achievements of our team’s top fundraiser, Holly Mills – who was joined on the track by her 5-year-old daughter Sierra (Herrig & Vogt’s youngest team member.)
Thank you to all of those who donated to the cause and those who came out to walk the track with us – together we will finish the fight against cancer.
